Regular Meeting
October 18, 2004

ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS:
Dave Clark called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
The September 20, 2004 minutes were read and approved.
OLD BUSINESS:
PRESTON GRAVEL PIT: Mrs. Preston was present to discuss her application for the Preston Gravel Pit. The Board members scheduled a sitewalk for Saturday, November 6, 8:30 PM. Members then went over the application checklist for gravel pits and discussed as many issues as possible. The remaining items will be discussed during the sitewalk. Mrs. Preston paid the appropriate fees for the application and sitewalk.
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: A public information night is scheduled for Tuesday, October 26th, to present the final version of the proposed Comprehensive Plan.
SDI A follow-up letter needs to be sent to the bank concerning SDI’s bond. After this a CUP can be issued. Dave Clark has files with the bond information.
TARA ESTATES: No new information
FILING CABINETS: Heather Pinet may be able to obtain some locking file cabinets from Gorham Savings Bank.
NEW BUSINESS:
CELL TOWER ANTENNA: Dave Clark has heard that a cell phone company is interested in co-locating an antenna on the tower located on the Tardiff property. No application has been filed yet. After discussion, members decided that any applicants should come before the Planning Board for approval, until an ordinance is written to address this. The secretary will contact Town Attorney Maxine Pouravelis as to whether or not it is advisable to schedule a public hearing or notify abutters.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 15, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.
