Site Walk on Bickford Road

The site walk started at 6:35 PM.
Nancy Harriman informed the Board members that Ron Wormwood and Derrick Vezina had notified her that they would not be participating as Board members, because of potential conflicts of interest and bias.
Residents and Board members followed the road to Lots 3 and 4. CEO Jim Roberts noted that the centerline had not been marked on that portion of the road, as is necessary for site walks. Brad Lodge replied that it was not physically marked but had been noted on the plans. He explained that the grade is undetermined at the present time.
The Morses explained that Phase 1 of the project would include the existing Lot 1 and 2, plus Lots 3 and 4. The road would end in a temporary hammerhead, with the understanding that the final road, at the completion of Phase 2, will end in a cul-de-sac with sufficient turning radius for fire trucks. Phase 2 would include Lots 5-8. The Morses intend to build a home for themselves on Lot 8, and may carve off another one or two lots in the future for their children.
The Morses asked if they could have both phases approved at the same time, and it was determined that it was possible to do so. The Board informed the Morses that they would be required to complete the road to the end of Phase 1 before starting Phase 2. Board members and residents continued the site walk through the remainder of the lots, ending at the tip of the proposed cul-de-sac. The Morses noted that there is a brook approximately 150 feet from that point; it appears that the brook is un-named.
Ron Wormwood motioned to end the site walk and Rick Shaw seconded. The site walk ended at 7:15 PM.
